Greta Garbo is one of the most notable and elusive actresses of the Golden Age of Hollywood. The American Film Institute billed her as the fifth greatest female actress of all time. Her performance in movies such as Anna Christie, Romance, Camille, and Ninotchka earned her Academy Award nominations for Best Actress, though she would never walk away with an Award. At one point, the Guinness Book of World Records would name her the most beautiful woman who ever lived. Those long eyelashes and arched eyebrows characterize the sultry sweet style that she epitomizes. Her classic glamour is found in crisp black and white, berets, and fierce mascara.
