Red Lipstick

Red Lipstick. The finishing touch to many an outfit. A time tested trick to brighten up a weary face. Not to mention, it never fails to make teeth appear glistening white. Reminiscent of older days and flirty dresses. Think Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball, & Madonna. There's something simple yet decidedly alluring about that hint of red. Use well and it will become an invaluable ally when paired with a cocktail dress. 


Make sure that you are using the right shade of red for your coloring. There are two base colors for red lipstick: blue and orange. If you have warm, honey colored skin - you will glow in an orange based red lipstick. If you have fair skin, then a blue based red will suit you beautifully. There are some universal red lipsticks, however. Experts swear by the tried and true Chanel Rouge, the Chanel No. 5 of Lipstick. Pucker up and wear boldly.
